Health Care

Health care encompasses the professionals and services that aim to promote and maintain wellness and prevent and treat illness. From checkups in infancy to complex illness management in elder care, individuals of all ages interact with the health-care system and health-care providers. As individuals interface with this system, they bring with them their own beliefs, attitudes, and approaches to health to interactions in which professionals hold special expertise regarding health.
