Discrimination Against LGBTQ Elders

Discrimination is generally understood to be the practice of treating a person or group of people unfairly or differently than other people are treated, in this instance on the basis of their sexual orientation. The entry will provide an overview of the discrimination that LGBTQ elders can face generally as a group and then will discuss the specific discriminations and potential oppression that each subgroup within the larger LGBTQ community can encounter as a result of their specific identity.
