According to the Pew Research Center, Christianity is one of the most common religions on Earth, with 31.5% of all people identifying as Christian. Regardless of denominational or political viewpoint, there are certain consistent, foundational characteristics of Christianity that distinguish it from other monotheistic religions such as Islam and Judaism.
