Transgender Youth and Cross-Sex Hormones

Trans people are those people who are not content to remain the gender they were assigned at birth. They may identify as men (trans men) or as women (trans women) or, of course, as boys or girls respectively. They may also identify as something outside of the gender binary of only male or female. Those people under the broad umbrella term of trans who do not identify as men or as women may identify as nonbinary, or one of a number of other terms.
