Support Groups and Resources

Support groups can be instrumental sources of assistance and social support, providing a sense of community and mutual benefit to individuals. Support groups are typically organized around particular issues or experiences that are shared by the members (such as transgender individuals and their families or bisexual women). These groups provide a space where individuals who identify as LGBTQ can feel comfortable discussing issues with others and access information and additional resources to increase their well-being.
