Digital Design

Digital design is the process of creating and implementing frictionless user experiences (UXs) on networked devices such as smartphones and personal computers. News organizations employ digital design to develop interfaces for their mobile applications, interactive graphics, and narratives as well as workflows that improve the newsgathering process. In comparison to analog design that is focused on the presentation of static information, digital design is intended to produce dynamic experiences based on data collected from a user’s interactions with a story or software application. Developing a seamless integration between content and form is essential to the design of digital experiences.
