Wall Street Journal, The

The Wall Street Journal is an English-language, U.S.-based business and general interest news product with national and international distribution through digital and mobile channels and a print product that is published weekdays and Saturdays. The Journal is part of Dow Jones & Company, which is owned by News Corporation (News Corp.), with headquarters in New York City. Since 1996, the Journal has been distributed on WSJ.com, which was an early adopter of a paywall for digital content. In mid-2019, the newspaper reported a circulation of 1 million for its print product and 1.83 million paid digital subscribers. The number of digital subscribers surpassed 2 million in February 2020.
