News Syndication

News syndication is the distribution of content other than hard news or spot news to news media outlets. Typical content includes political commentary, travel articles, opinion, advice columns (for health, family, gardening, investment, house hunting, etiquette, cooking, etc.), puzzles, cartoons, comic strips, horoscopes, and entertainment reviews. In the old days, it also included short stories, chapters of novels, and whatever else would be of interest to a wide and varied audience.
