Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Cognitive Abilities

The Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Cognitive Abilities (WJ IV COG) is an individually administered, norm-referenced test used to measure general intellectual abilities. It was developed and conormed with the Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Academic Abilities and Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Oral Language; when used together, the three batteries provide a comprehensive system to evaluate cognitive abilities, oral language abilities, and academic achievement. The WJ IV COG is applicable for preschool to geriatric populations, including individuals with college and graduate-level education. It was designed to evaluate cognitive strengths and weaknesses and the nature and extent of impairment, and to provide information to assist in diagnosis and intervention.
