Personality structures are intended to organize the hundreds of characteristics that describe human personality. By condensing these characteristics into broader factors, personality structure reflects the fundamental dimensions underlying personality differences between persons. The HEXACO model is a six-dimensional model of personality structure comprising the following factors: Honesty-Humility (H), Emotionality (E), eXtraversion (X), Agreeableness (A), Conscientiousness (C), and Openness to Experience (O). The model name also reflects the number of factors, as hexa is the Greek term for six.
