Founded in 2009 as a formal collaboration of the Organizational Psychology Division (Division 1) of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), the European Association for Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Alliance for Organizational Psychology (the Alliance) seeks to increase the visibility and impact of organizational psychologists around the globe while collaboratively tackling issues of importance on an international level. The Alliance was formed as a joint, nonprofit organization among these existing organizations and unites a combined group of over 10,000 organizational psychologists from all over the world.
