Clinician
Clinician is a term used to describe a professional or a professional student who assesses, diagnoses, and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders in the field of Speech–Language pathology. This entry describes the path an individual takes from student clinician to practicing clinician as a licensed Speech–Language pathologist. Student Clinicians
This term is applied first to an individual as he or she is earning a degree at the collegiate and graduate level—typically identified as a student clinician.
