Grant funding provides economic resources to support and implement a wide range of projects. Public and private entities generally fund and supply grants for individuals or for institutions. As such, grants are generally awarded to nonprofit organizations, institutions, or individuals. Governments and organizations use grants to fund ideas and projects that provide public services or stimulate economic growth.
