Grant Funding

Grant funding provides economic resources to support and implement a wide range of projects. Public and private entities generally fund and supply grants for individuals or for institutions. As such, grants are generally awarded to nonprofit organizations, institutions, or individuals. Governments and organizations use grants to fund ideas and projects that provide public services or stimulate economic growth. Grant makers are generally interested in funding research or projects that have the potential to bridge gaps in existing knowledge. For instance, grants often support justice and law enforcement, social services and health, and research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
