Feminist Leadership

Feminist leadership is a collective social practice that is based on a commitment to ethical and inclusive principles in order to produce change within organizations. Feminist leadership involves functioning with a greater consciousness not only of others’ but one’s own power, and consciously moving away from hierarchies that unjustly change the distribution and relations of power. In feminist organizations, leaders work from a vision of shared power and create opportunities for all individuals to contribute to a collective transformative agenda.
