Enrollment Targets and Management

‘Enrolment’ in this entry refers either to enrolling in higher education (HE) courses where successful completion results in a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree or to an individual student who enrols in these courses. Enrolment in HE has grown significantly across the globe with the movement from elite to ‘mass’ participation, bringing a range of opportunities and challenges for nation-states, higher education institutions (HEIs), and individual students themselves. In this context, ‘management’ refers to the various systems and procedures for selecting and enrolling students.
