RAND Corporation

The RAND Corporation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization focused on developing solutions to public policy challenges through research and analysis. More than half of RAND’s research staff hold doctorates in a variety of disciplines and conduct research for both public and private organizations. The RAND Corporation values objective, fact-based research that is dedicated to the public interest. With researchers employed across a variety of disciplines, RAND’s research programs address policy issues ranging from national security to postsecondary education.

In 2018, RAND conducted approximately $345 million dollars of sponsored research with 385 clients and grantors. Much of RAND’s works is sponsored by U.S. federal agencies but also includes funding from private sector, philanthropic, and nongovernmental organizations around the world.
