Higher Education Research Institute

The Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) is an interdisciplinary center for research, information, policy studies, and research training in postsecondary education, based in the Graduate School of Education & Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The center is home to the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP), the longest-running empirical study of American higher education.
