Residential Education Staff

Since the mid-20th century, residential education staff members have been involved in the delivery of residential education, residence life, and at some institutions housing assignments and operations. This group of individuals, often part of the department that oversees housing, is the team responsible for the living learning environment in a residence hall. Residential education (sometimes called residence education) staff members range from departmental leadership to student staff including resident assistants or resident advisers. Live-in, full-time staff, including hall directors and area coordinators, are also likely part of the residential education staff.
