Tablet Devices in Education and Training

Tablet devices are handheld computers, with a display of 7 to 10 inches that doubles as the touch-sensitive interface using fingers or a specific stylus or pen. Compared to laptops or netbooks, tablets are small, light, and have a longer battery life of up to 10 hours. They are ready to use almost immediately after switching on. They serve for surfing the Internet and may be extended with additional hardware such as a keyboard and software applications.
