Predicting Change and Adoption of Technology Innovations

Change is the process by which an organization or social system modifies its practices, beliefs, operations, values, or structures. One of the most common ways in which an organization or social system changes is through the identification, development, adoption, and use of new technologies. Innovative technologies have been adopted with great effect by organizations in many fields including banking, telecommunications, the military, medicine, and entertainment, to name only a few. There are also numerous examples of innovative technologies that have been adopted by educational and training organizations during the last several decades.
