Games for adult learners refers to the use of games, or game principles, to support, enhance, or create learning opportunities for adults. There is much debate in game studies about the exact definition of the word game, as well as what constitutes an adult learner in education studies. For the purposes of simplicity and clarity, the definitions provided here aim to encompass the most common understandings of the terms used in the associated literatures.
