Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA)

The Professional Golfers’ Association of America’s (PGA of America’s) main purpose and function is to increase interest and participation in the game, while improving the standards of golf professionals within the United States. It currently has more than 27,000 members and is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It is not to be confused with the PGA Tour, which was spun off as a separate entity specifically for touring professionals in 1968. The PGA of America’s motto is “Experts in the Game and Business of Golf.”
