Online Education

Proponents of online education point to a variety of economic, pedagogical, and social reasons why it can provide an attractive and viable alternative to more traditional face-to-face instruction. Online education has been used in a variety of settings, including preschool through 12th grade and higher education, to provide instruction to students. Popular with some because it can ensure broader offerings to students who would otherwise be unable to engage in certain instruction, online education is also touted by some as a means of reducing the cost of instruction.
