Frotteurism

Frotteurism is considered a sexual disorder that involves rubbing against or touching a nonconsenting individual for the purpose of sexual arousal or, on occasion, orgasm. Most individuals described or diagnosed as frotteurs tend to rub up against unsuspecting victims in crowded public places, such as public transit or shops, and leave the scene quickly after a very brief encounter. In most jurisdictions, such individuals if apprehended face legal charges (e.g., sexual assault) and sanctions for such behavior, although the penalties for frotteuristic activity, even repeated frequently, tend to be minimal. Frotteurism is often described as a nuisance or minor sexual offense or paraphilia (i.e., psychosexual disorder).
