Serial Murder

Serial murder is a form of aberrant violent crime that, in simple terms, can be characterized by the commission of multiple murders perpetrated at intervening periods of time by the same offender or offenders. In comparison with other modes of crime and even other forms of homicide, the prevalence of serial murder is very rare. Cases of serial murder have been recorded throughout history and across most nations in the world.
