Based on child development and early education research, The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive set of resources that explain the what, why, and how of teaching young children. There are three versions, each addressing a specific age group or setting: infants, toddlers, and 2-year-olds; preschool children (ages 3 to 5 years); and children who are cared for in family child care homes (birth through school age). The Creative Curriculum is widely used by the majority of Head Start and Early Head Start programs and by other child care, preschool, and prekindergarten programs in every state.
