School systems are primarily tasked with managing the academic, behavioral, and social success of their students. To do so, the system must address not only the needs of individual students but also those of teachers and other school personnel, as well as the health and function of the system. School consultation is a process that can be used to address these needs through the provision of preventive supports as well as remedial services at all levels of the school system: individual, group, and systemic.
