Prevention Education

Prevention education has a long-standing history in the United States, with a variety of programs created over the years that cater to youth at different age ranges. The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention offers a wide variety of prevention tools for children at different age ranges as well as tips for parents and teachers on educating children about alcohol and other drugs. Also offered are gender- and ethnic-specific prevention programs targeting young girls and Spanish-speaking children.
