School Mobility and Education

Over the course of a student's education, they may change schools several times. The normal progression of change is from elementary to middle to high school, which can provide challenges for the average child. For various reasons and factors, some students will change schools a multitude of times over the course of their schooling. This issue is referred to as “student mobility” or “school mobility.” Research continues to demonstrate that the more times a student changes schools, the more likely that child is to drop out or not succeed in learning.
