Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commonly known as Saudi Arabia, is the birthplace of Islam and the “Land of the Two Holy Mosques,” Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid al-Nabawi. The largest country on the Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia occupies 80 percent of the peninsula and is surrounded by seven countries, namely, Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait on the north; Qatar and United Arab Emirates on the east; Oman on the southeast; and Yemen on the south. The Red Sea lies west of Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Bahrain are situated on its east.
