Online education has grown rapidly in recent years and has revolutionized postsecondary education, and more recently its impact on elementary and secondary education is being realized. The demand for online learning remains strong because of its flexibility and use of new and emerging technologies. Online education is the delivering of education or instruction to learners who may not be physically present in a classroom but who are connected through technology in a distributed manner.
