International Data

International data on education are available through a variety of sources. This data can be used for research and to inform policy reform. International data allows sociologists to better understand education and its relation to societies around the world. Policymakers also use international data. Examination of international data can indentify processes and attributes of high-performing education systems, allowing one education system to learn from another.
