Hidden Curriculum

According to various sociologic studies, the hidden curriculum is that which is not explicitly taught in a classroom setting. In other words, social norms and behaviors are taught through the experience of school and classroom organization. Elements of the hidden curriculum serve to prepare students for the hurdles that they will face in life as a whole, and in their work lives. There are several key areas that are often considered part of the hidden, social curriculum for most public and private schools.
