Sirhan Bishara Sirhan is a Palestinian-born assassin who killed Senator Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) on June 5, 1968, in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles following Kennedy's Democratic primary victory in California. Born on March 19, 1944, in Jerusalem to Palestinian Christian parents, Sirhan and his family witnessed the destruction of their homeland from the 1948 Arab-Jewish War.
