Darrow, Clarence

Attorney Clarence Darrow was born on April 18, 1857, in Kinsman, Ohio, to Amirus and Emily Darrow. Raised in an agnostic working-class home, Darrow attended Allegheny College and one year of law school at the University of Michigan. Although Darrow obtained a degree from neither Allegheny College nor the University of Michigan, he studied law and entered the Ohio bar in 1878.
