Confidence Games and Frauds

Confidence tricks, con games, and confidence games are terms for fraudulent activities where the intention of the swindler is to gain items of value through means of deception, confidence, or trust. Confidence gaming requires at least two players; the confidence game, therefore, is in fact a game.
