UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative was launched in 2007 at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva. It reflects an international partnership between the United Nations and business schools around the world to focus education, research, and thought leadership on responsible management.

PRME and the Global Compact

The PRME initiative is linked to the UN Global Compact. In fact, the PRME Secretariat is housed in the UN Global Contact Office. The Global Compact is a global partnership of businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and other organizations such as educational institutions that encourages businesses around the world to implement sustainable and socially responsible practices.
