Social Media

The term social media refers specifically to how people interact and communicate across distances. Social media today refer specifically to Internet-based platforms through which people connect with friends, relatives, coworkers, and strangers, individually or in groups, to share information, ideas, images, and anything else that comes to mind. Some have resulted in the emergence of viral communities. They facilitate the development of online social networks that connect user profiles based on interests, concerns, or other shared traits.
