Politicization of Business

The proper scope of government involvement in business and economic matters is a controversial issue. Positions range from the view that the government’s job should be limited to providing a neutral and minimal framework of law—to the view that the government should also correct market failures—to the view that it should also manage the economy in various targeted ways—to the view that the government should be the central power in running the economy.

Yet the politicization of business issue is not about how much power the government should have over the business sector.
