Nike, Inc.

Nike, Inc., is a high-profile sporting goods and apparel company that engages in the design, development, and marketing of footwear, equipment, apparel, and accessory products worldwide. Although it has had other brands in the past, its products (as of 2017) are marketed under four major brand names: Nike, Jordan, Converse, and Hurley. Nike, which is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, just a few miles from Portland, sells its products through a mix of independent distributors, licensees, and subsidiaries.
