Introduction

In general terms, ‘assessment centres’ are those processes used for marking, evaluating and predicting people's applied skills, know-how and knowledge based on situational tests.

The empirical base for this method is simple, and has been voiced on various occasions. According to experiments carried out in the behavioural branch of psychology, the best indicator of a person's behaviour is his past behaviour, shown in a given situation.
