Venture management firms provide their venture clients with the necessary capital, interim management support, and relevant resources to achieve business tractions for the company's product or service. Donald King and Robert Thornton define venture as an abbreviated word for “entrepreneurial adventure” and a venture management firm as “an organization initiated to capitalize on new products and markets. The objective of venture management is to launch new businesses.
