Learning Theory

An understanding of learning theory and how it relates to entrepreneurs is invaluable for anyone pursuing new ventures. Knowing how learning occurs in the entrepreneurial context, one can better take advantage of learning opportunities as they arise. Many perspectives on learning theory have been explored in the research literature, but each perspective integrates two constructs embedded in entrepreneurial research: experience and innovation. Entrepreneurs gain valuable experience throughout their careers, which informs their business decisions and stimulates innovation.
