Mothers Movement Online (MMO)

The Mothers Movement Online (MMO) is an independent, privately funded and noncommercial media project established in April 2003 to provide online information for the welfare of mothers and their social, economic, and political advancement. Addressing mothers through its Website, http://www.mothersmovement.org, MMO favors social change to promote economic and social equality for mothers as well as anyone involved in often-devalued caring work. The Website has different chapters, which include original pieces as well as interviews and book reviews. It also gathers and recommends other online sources and news articles on the topics of motherhood, carework, family life, and workplace rights for pregnant women and mothers.
