Accommodation

Most dictionaries defineaccommodation as synonymous with adjustment, or a readiness to aid or please others. Authors Larry Samovar and Richard Porter described accommodation as a conflict style whereby one communicator will acquiesce to the wishes of another and give up on his or her own needs and goals.
