Healthcare Delivery

Healthcare delivery refers to the system by which services are delivered to allow people to live healthy lives. It includes not only medical care but related care as well, such as treatment by a dentist or physical therapist. Healthcare may be delivered in many different settings, including hospitals, freestanding clinics, individual physician offices, community and workplace clinics, and the patient's home, and may be funded publicly, privately, or some combination of the two.
