Personal Consumer Role in Green Health
The green movement assumes both individual responsibility for lifestyle and health choices and collective understanding regarding outcomes that may affect the collective well-being of groups throughout the world. The personal consumer's role in green health has helped empower individuals to take seriously their health and healthcare choices. Consumers affect green health through their assessment of potential benefits and limitations of the Western medical model, their choices regarding foods and other substances they ingest, and how these choices support notions of sustainability.
