Dairy Products

Green products are all-natural and nontoxic and are produced sustainably, and often locally, with renewable resources or postconsumer recyclable materials. Their production and use have a minimal negative effect on the environment and promote conservation of energy and natural resources. According to some definitions, green consumerism enhances quality of life now and for future generations. Current levels of production and consumption of dairy products cannot be sustained without compromising the environment, health, animal welfare, and economic justice. As consumers demand it, dairy businesses are beginning to offer safer foods produced with fewer negative environmental impacts.
