Tropical humid climate is one of several climate categories found on Earth. To understand it better, it is important to define the term climate. The climate of an area is the average characteristic condition of the atmosphere near the Earth's surface for at least 30 years. This includes the region's general pattern of weather conditions, seasons, and weather extremes such as hurricanes, droughts, or rainy periods.
