Brisolara, Sharon

Brisolara's primary contributions to the theory, practice, and profession of evaluation include writings on participatory and feminist evaluation. She is currently involved in evaluation capacity building in rural California. She is interested in exploring the links between participatory, mixed-method evaluations of rural-based programs and capacity building.

Her work has been energized and guided through her involvement with grassroots community groups. She has been most inspired by the writings and works of Jennifer Greene and Michael Quinn Patton.
